How profiles work... |
|
|
|
Your profile is used to ensure you get just the right seat, meal, car and hotel room you need. It is also used to make sure you get credited for your frequent flyer miles, and other frequent user programs.
Most importantly though, your personal information is used to identify your bookings, and you, when you contact us regarding them.
|

To change or add information to your ResX Profile, follow the following instructions:
www.resx.com/login.aspx. Enter your Company, Member ID, and Password.
Click on "Login"
Click on "Profile" in the upper right hand corner.
ResX has 7 pages that can be used to complete or change your personal profile:

|
Go through each page from "Personal Information" through "Travel Planners" to view or add profile
information. Be sure to click on "Save" if you make any changes to your information. Among your options:
- Personal Information:
This contains info such as your name, address info, email address, phone numbers, passport info, and emergency contact info. Please complete or update any blank or
incorrect information.
- Billing Information:
This allows you to add, change or verify credit card(s) to be used.
- Travel Preferences:
This contains info such as seating preferences, meal preferences, preferred airlines, car and hotel preferences, etc.
- Membership Numbers:
This is where you enter all of your frequent flyer numbers, frequent hotel guest numbers, car membership numbers, corporate discount numbers, etc.
- Display Options:
This allows you to determine how your travel information is displayed.
- Change Password:
This contains information on changing your password.
- Travel Planners:
This is where you would add the Member ID for anyone you would like to be able to make travel arrangements for you.

The fields on most of these profile pages are self-explanatory. Just a couple of tips or reminders… |
|
|
|
- List both home and office addresses in case you should ever need ticket delivery at home.
- Please provide us with your cell phone number where indicated. Remember we don't need the country code if you reside in the U.S.
- Emergency Contact Box – Keep in mind either the Emergency information needs to be completed or the box stating refusal of the Emergency information needs to be checked.
- Always list your name exactly
as it is on your identification, except for credit card info which should always match the card. If you are a frequent traveler it would pay to make sure all of your credit cards, frequent flyer accounts, etc. match. This way you aren't caught in a dilemma where you have to choose between your name as printed on your ID and your name as printed on your frequent flyer account.
- If you see a box asking for a business unit code or 4-digit department number (see illustration below) this means your company is breaking down costs according to these distinctions. Is is
important that you fill in all three fields if possible. If you don't see this section it means your firm is not breaking down costs this way.

We suggest you check all five of these flight options boxes.
Note: If your employer doesn't want travelers using internet fares their corporate
settings will override your personal preferences. If you find the program is giving you too many options which are undesirable (say, connections that take
too much time) you can always turn these features off and do a new search. |
