Airport Closure Information

LIST UPDATED: Sept.12

Hurricane Irma caused numerous airport closures and widespread disruptions in the Caribbean region and the Southeastern US. As of Sept. 12, most airports in Florida have reopened.

Some airports in Turks and Caicos and the Bahamas are open, while others are slated to reopen in the coming days. Dutch authorities continue to restrict Princess Juliana International Airport (SXM) to relief flights only. Other airports in the region, including in the British Virgin Islands, and Anguilla, are also only open for relief flight operations. Several airports in Cuba remain closed after the storm made landfall along the country’s northern coast Sept. 9.

All scheduled reopening times listed below are subject to change as authorities continue to assess storm damage at these facilities.
