London is one of the world’s great cities. Full of history and diverse communities it has become a cultural mecca for the ages. From sports games, gathering tens of thousands of fans, to a walk through the royal gardens, London offers much to be desired.

Moving Through Time

You can’t go far in London without stumbling upon somewhere of historical significance. The Tower of London, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, and Big Ben are among the most famous structures in the world. One of the best recommendations we can make is to make a visit to The British Museum. Located in the Bloomsbury district the museum is dedicated to human history, arts and culture.

Food & Drink

A great way to plan a trip around London would be to plan your must-have meals and then work your way back through the shops, museums, and sites between bites. It’s no secret in the culinary world that London has escaped a long history of blandness in its cuisine; the only problem now is an overwhelming amount of fantastic places to try. Atop that list is a foodie’s paradise The Borough Market. Since 1014 it has provided treats, goodies and currently some of the most vibrant and amazing food available in the world.

When it comes to food the Michelin Star is what sets apart the best from the rest and London currently has 70 restaurants with such accolades. With so many to choose from, we wanted to point you to the top of the list, and that is Restaraunt Gordon RamseyTelevision’s most famous chef has created something truly amazing. Earning the maximum three Michelin Stars, this south-west London eatery located in the Chelsea district will cost you anywhere from €185 (seasonal) to €65.

If you’re looking for a drink, well it’s Europe, there’s just about a pub on every corner. Bordering on the beautiful Hyde Park, Mayfair is an upscale district of elegant townhouses, exclusive hotels and gourmet restaurants. The Mews of Mayfair is a unique hideaway tucked into a historic London courtyard. Grab cocktails in the Hummingbird room and enjoy the beautiful ambience. Another great option is Aqua Spirit, in central London. On a rooftop, this bar is the perfect blend of a view with a high-quality drink to go with it. Whether it is a night on the town or you just gotta do your own thing for a little London is ample with options to fill your wants and needs.

Choose from the subway to buses, boats, commuter trains and taxis. If you’re in the city for a few days, purchase a smart card, and consider a day ($9.90) or week pass ($49.50).
