Delta First Class Passengers Can Now Pre-Select Meals

Starting this week, Delta Air Lines will give First Class guests on more than 1,000 weekly flights the option of pre-selecting their meals.

Delta had been offering the option only to guests on service with a Delta One cabin, but will now offer it on domestic flights and flights between the U.S., Canada, the Caribbean, and Latin America.

In a statement releasing the news, Delta Vice President for Onboard Services Lisa Bauer said that the decision was made after positive feedback from the initial group travelers — it “ensures their first meal choice will be available onboard” while also making it easier for flight attendants to serve guests.

Anyone scheduled to fly First Class with Delta will be sent an email prior to their flight asking them to pick their meal, which varies depending on routes.
