DHS to Expand Preclearance to 10 New Airports

The Department of Homeland Security plans to expand preclearance operations to ten new foreign airports, located in nine countries: Belgium, the Dominican Republic, Japan, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Turkey and the United Kingdom. Travelers would undergo immigration, customs, and agriculture inspection by U.S. agents before boarding a direct flight to the United States.
