Hyatt Regency San Francisco Completes Renovation

The Hyatt Regency San Francisco has completed the renovation of its 804 guest rooms and public areas. The property, which is located on the city’s Embarcadero, features upgrades to what’s touted as the world’s largest hotel lobby, where the sculpture “Eclipse” is complemented by the addition of wood-seating alcoves and a light sculpture with 400 lights. Four of the hotel’s 45 suites have been converted to luxury suites, each of which received tailored furnishings and finishes. The hotel’s Eclipse Kitchen and Bar has also been redesigned. The property was designed by noted hotel architect John Portman in 1973. (Travel Weekly)
