The International House of Pancakes, a brand that seems ideally suited to hungry travelers is taking its first step toward domination of the nation’s airports. Atlanta will be the test site, with a 3,000 sq foot IHOP Express, specially re-calibrated to deliver stacks of pancakes at a speed required by airline passengers. If successful the concept will be exported to other airport locations. The new IHOP Express will be located in the main atrium at Atlanta’s Hartsfield International Airport, so the chances of a successful launch are good. Launch date is scheduled for Sept. 10, 2013.
